Our structure provides an innovative means for employers with 50-500 covered employee lives to enjoy all the advantages of self-funding their health benefit plan. By pooling risk with other self-funded groups, our program minimizes the volatility of large claims and increases the predictability of claim utilization. Swiss Re Corporate Solutions values the role of captive managers which independently supervise each program on behalf of the participating employer groups. For the mutual benefit of all parties, we require each benefit plan to utilize approved cost containment and wellness features. Each employer may choose between one of several authorized national or regional claims administrators.Download

To provide the best value to our business partners and clients, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has developed an Experience Refund Feature

The Swiss Re Corporate Solutions gapless renewal coverage provides additional protection for claims that were incurred during the prior contract period, but paid after the run-out period. Claims that fall between the two contract periods can be a serious liability to employer health plans. Swiss Re Corporate Solutions eliminates this liability for our clients that are currently on a run-out contract and renew. It does this under the renewal policy by reimbursing the eligible expenses incurred in the prior “Incurred Benefit Period” but paid after the prior “Paid Benefit Period.” Esentially, gapless protection provides a 12-month run-in on the renewal policy, which will be reflected in the policy’s schedule.Download
In our continued effort to provide our partners with innovative risk transfer, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has developed a minimum essential coverage product. This plan can be quoted on a stand-alone basis or in combination with a traditional self-funded plan.Download
