AERO is the largest general aviation exhibition in Europe. This year AERO celebrated its silver anniversary and achieved a record participation of 707 exhibitors from 39 countries and 34.000 visitors! The exhibition took place from 5-8 April 2017, in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions was present at AERO for the 5th consecutive year. Our aviation representation consisted of 9 experts from General Aviation and Aerospace underwriting and claims.
AERO provides an excellent platform to showcase our local, direct insurance capabilities for helicopters, business jets, hangars, manufacturers and airports, as well as our innovative aviation solutions.
Furthermore our cooperation agreement with Kuerzi Avionics AG was announced during AERO. As the preferred cooperation partner of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, Kuerzi Avionics' specialists will act as loss adjusters and claims examiners for insurance cases such as avionics losses and electronic component damage.
