Swiss Re Corporate Solutions appoints Tyler Johnston as Head Financial & Professional Services and Casualty Canada, effective June 24. In this role, Mr. Johnston will be responsible for growth, strategy and underwriting of the Financial & Professional Services business across Canada. He will be based in Toronto.

Mr. Johnston succeeds Steve Ritter, who will retire on September 1. Mr. Ritter will work with Mr. Johnston to ensure a smooth transition.
Mr. Johnston has held numerous leadership positions of increasing responsibility within the professional lines space. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University and a CPA designation.
