Swiss Re Corporate Solutions participated as a gold partner of the bi-annual Federation of European Risk Managers Association (FERMA) Forum, which took place in Monte Carlo from 15-18 October.
The FERMA Forum is one of the largest and most important European risk and insurance management events and is specifically designed by risk managers for risk managers and is an opportunity to improve their skills and knowledge, to help influence business decisions and to ensure that good risk management standards are integrated into business processes.
The conference provided an excellent platform for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions to highlight its growing primary lead capabilities, commitment to the local markets across Europe and expanding portfolio of commercial insurance offerings.
Fred Kleiterp, CEO EMEA and Loredana Mazzoleni Neglen, Head of Sales EMEA, led the delegation of 20 Corporate Solutions' client managers.
With more than 1,400 attendees across three days, the Corporate Solutions team were fully energized to maximise their presence. From hosting numerous strategic meetings with clients and brokers, to networking and engaging with prospects, to managing a busy exhibition stand. In addition, the team hosted a briefing on the topic of the latest Swiss Re sigma innovation solutions for the commercial insurance market. Senior executives also participated in workshops on topics of the shifting risk landscape and sustainability in the renewable energy sector. In total, the conference ran for 35 hours, with 100s of meetings, more than 80 speakers and moderators, with 4 high-level panel discussions and 15 workshops. The next FERMA Forum will take place in Berlin in November 2019.

Expenses to US healthcare organizations and providers can become exorbitant due to the cost of medical malpractice. Arbitration agreements, which are incorporated into the admission process in many healthcare organizations, can reduce this burden by decreasing the number of jury trials and legal defense costs, promoting timely resolutions, eliminating the concern of unpredictable jury verdicts and damage awards, and maintaining disputants’ privacy. If a dispute proceeds to litigation it is beneficial to have a case heard in a reasonable venue, and a choice of forum agreement is valuable to incorporate in the admissions process.Learn more
