Paul joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in Mar 2017 as Representative Director SRIJ and Head of CorSo Japan. He has been a member of both the APAC and MU Asia Executive Teams since joining CorSo. 

With more than 40 years in insurance, Paul has held various leadership roles with other insurance carriers and in commercial insurance broking. Prior to Swiss Re, Paul was Head of Corporate Distribution at AIG Japan. He started his career in London with Royal Insurance (now RSA). 

Paul has led the Japan branch for nearly nine years,in which time the business GWP has more than quadrupled, and the staff number has doubled. 

Japan has been a major contributor to the APAC and MU Asia profitability. 

Paul holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Modern Iberian and Latin America Regional Studies from King’s College London.
