About the Role
This hybrid role combines responsibilities across Credit Control and Claims Operations, with a primary focus on ensuring accurate settlement of claim payments and maintaining high data quality across a designated client portfolio. The role is responsible for managing claim payments that are booked in the accounting system but not paid out individually. Instead, these payments are processed in batches, requiring precise coordination, reconciliation, and system accuracy. Operating at the intersection of technical accounting, client interaction, and operational execution, this position contributes directly to financial accuracy, process efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilites:
- Settle claims bookings in the accounting workbench accurately and in accordance with treaty terms and agreements
- Ensure timely financial settlement of claims payments, contributing to overall cash flow management
- Ensure accurate reconciliation between claim bookings and actual payments
- Monitor unsettled claims bookings and ensure they are resolved within required timeframes
- Examine claims documents to validate completeness and determine any necessary adjustments
- Provide operational support as needed to various business lines, communicate with customers via phone and written correspondence to obtain specific claim information

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word. Strong PC skills are essential
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
- Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, managers, supervisors, colleagues and /or members
- Strong Team player
- Fluent English both spoken and written
These are additional nice to haves:
- German, Italian and other languages
- Understanding and appreciation of (re)insurance products
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,300 and EUR 2,100 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
