Claims Examiner
Location: Mexico City, MX
As a Claims Examiner, you will be an integral part of a team managing low reinsurance and insurance claims in accordance with internal claim handling guidelines. We serve as the initial point of contact for new claims, segmenting and assigning them as necessary.
Our team possesses a deep understanding of the operational details of claims processes, allowing us to create, improve, and oversee processes and execution.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Governance, Underwriting, IT, and other disciplines to fulfill our commitment to customers. You will also support and work alongside technical claim handlers to ensure high-quality claim handling and customer service.
About the Role:
• Deliver high-quality claim handling and customer service in line with internal guidelines.
• Collaborate on the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures,
system and tool enhancements, and testing/piloting changes.
• Gain and apply comprehensive knowledge of claim line of business and regulatory
requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely claim setup, assigning new claims to handlers as
appropriate.
• Properly identify and manage claim documents
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional Experience1–3 years of experience in claims handling, claims operations, insurance, or reinsurance, ideally in a low to medium complexity environment. Hands-on exposure to end-to-end claims processing, including claim setup, documentation review, and coordination with claim handlers.
Experience working with internal guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to claims management.

- Analytical mindset and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources to support sound claim handling decisions.
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in parallel while meeting deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at different levels. English fluent required/mandatory.
- Collaborative team player, comfortable working in cross‑functional and multicultural environments.
