About the Role
As a Compliance Associate, you'll be at the heart of our day-to-day compliance operations, ensuring that our global standards are maintained through effective support and administration. This role offers an excellent entry point into the world of financial services compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and triage incoming compliance-related queries and support requests through shared mailboxes and ticketing systems
- Process and evaluate requests for deadline extensions and cancellations according to established procedures
- Maintain and update internal guidance materials and knowledge resources to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Document and organize compliance documentation, catalogues, and frequently asked questions
- Review and process user access requests for compliance dashboards and tools
- Create and test training or learning items to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Support general administrative tasks, including preparing lists, tracking activities, and assisting with recurring compliance cycles
Note that this is a temporary position (maternity cover).
About the Team
The Compliance Programme, Policy & Awareness team sits within Compliance Programme & Operations, with a responsibility for managing the global Compliance governance frameworks group-wide. Our team members are located in Switzerland, the UK, US and Slovakia and come from a variety of backgrounds.
About You
You're an organized and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical thinking and a positive, solution-focused mindset. You thrive when managing multiple priorities and can work both independently and collaboratively. Your communication skills allow you to translate complex compliance concepts into accessible information for colleagues across the organization.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines
- Adaptability to work in a changing environment
- Interest in compliance, risk and corporate learning & development
These are additional nice to haves:
- 1-2 years of professional work experience in Compliance, Legal, Audit or Risk Management
- Additional language skills beyond English
- Fundamental understanding of Compliance in a financial services company
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,400 and 2,300 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
