Join our Compliance Financial Crime Intelligence (FCI) Team, a global centre of excellence at Swiss Re. You'll play a key role in assessing screening results and ensuring compliance with international regulations across our diverse business landscape. About The Role
You will:
- Be the go-to expert for screening results escalated to Compliance, with a focus on International Trade Controls (ITC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
- Help steer the team’s operations and decisions, ensuring smooth workflows.
- Offer trusted guidance on Compliance matters related to screening, empowering internal partners across Swiss Re.
- Champion a culture of integrity and collaboration.
- Deliver training and support to screening tool users across the Group, helping them stay confident and compliant.
- Test and assess the impact of new releases and change requests in the screening tool to ensure seamless functionality.
- Work with colleagues across the globe - from Reinsurance to Corporate Solutions, Asset Management & Capital Markets -connecting dots across Swiss Re’s diverse business landscape.
About The Team
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Compliance FCI Team! You will report into the Head of Compliance FCI & Reinsurance Slovakia, based in Bratislava. Our internal stakeholders are diverse and driven business teams, committed to delivering value and innovative services. In our team, you will learn about the Compliance risks facing an international re/insurance business.
About You
We are looking for a colleague who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team, handling multiple requests and deadlines. You should feel comfortable in a dynamic environment and be able to deal with ambiguity.

Essentials:
- You have gained at least 2 years professional work experience in a Compliance or Legal role, preferably within the financial industry.
- You have experience with AML and ITC Compliance Risks and an enthusiasm to learn.
- You display a high degree of integrity, are discreet and able to handle confidential information.
- You speak and write English fluently (other languages are a plus).
- You have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
- You are proficient in MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point.
Nice to Haves:
- University degree in Law, Finance or similar
- High-level understanding of other Compliance Risks (eg. Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Anti-Fraud, etc.)
This is a temporary position to provide maternity cover. The contract will be for a fixed term, subject to the return of the postholder.
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,400 and EUR 2,300 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
