Credit Operations Specialist (12 months contract)

About the Role
This position sits within Global Credit Operations under Corporate Solutions, supporting banking clients within the credit line of business. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality Technical Accounting services, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional service standards.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Handling premium receivables, including accurate and timely premium and brokerage bookings, and allocating cash.
- Investigating and resolving accounting queries.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to clarify discrepancies.
- Communicating directly with external clients (written and verbal) to resolve technical accounting issues such as premium mismatches, missing information, or payment delays.
- Performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Conducting 4‑eyes checks on selected bookings.
Additional responsibilities:
- Supporting internal and external audit requirements related to technical accounting.
- Handling ad‑hoc reporting needs.

You will be part of the Global Credit Operations team — a specialized and diverse group supporting banking clients across multiple regions. The team is located across Europe, Asia Pacific, North America, and Latin America, working collaboratively to deliver outstanding client service and support the business in achieving profitable growth.

About You

Your skills, experience, and qualities include:
- 3+ years of experience in (re)insurance Technical Accounting, credit control, or financial operations—ideally within an international bank or broker.
- A completed commercial education (preferably in banking or economics) or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of Technical Accounting processes and related upstream/downstream functions.
- Good analytical abilities and strong digital literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel.
- Preferably, knowledge of credit line businesses, Trade Finance, and/or international Guarantee business.
- Excellent cross‑cultural and business communication skills (written and verbal).
- A proactive, eager‑to‑learn attitude with strong customer focus.
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
- Intermediate proficiency in math, administrative processes, accounting principles, and customer service.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
