About the Role

As our Customer and Distribution Manager, you will be at the heart of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' commercial success in the Nordics. This is a dynamic, client-facing role where you will cultivate and grow relationships with brokers and clients, identify new business opportunities, and work collaboratively across teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how we show up in the market — bringing energy, insight, and strategic thinking to everything you do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with brokers and clients, acting as a trusted partner and key point of contact for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in Sweden
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by actively engaging with the market, understanding client needs, and positioning Swiss Re's capabilities effectively
  • Orchestrate tailored solutions by collaborating with underwriting, claims, and other internal teams to design and deliver propositions that meet the specific needs of clients and distribution partners
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of broker and client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and engagement
  • Drive pipeline management by tracking opportunities, maintaining accurate records, and reporting on business development activities

About our Team

You will be part of the Customer and Distribution team for BeNeLux & Nordics, reporting to the Head of Customer and Distribution Management based in Copenhagen. We are a dynamic team working cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders, the team is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and Hoofddorp, Netherlands.

About You

You are someone who listens carefully, communicates with clarity and confidence, and knows how to bring the right people and solutions together. You are comfortable navigating complexity and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same. You take ownership of your work, act with integrity, and are motivated by creating real value for clients and partners alike.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Several years of experience from the (re) insurance industry
  • A broad industry network with key partners, including corporate risk managers and brokers, enabling you to open doors and create meaningful business opportunities from day one
  • Strong ability to orchestrate tailored solutions, with experience collaborating across functions to develop and deliver client-specific propositions
  • Track record of identifying and converting business opportunities, with a commercial mindset and the ability to spot and act on market potential
  • Proficient language skills in Swedish and English, other Nordic languages are a plus.

For Denmark, the base salary range for this position is between DKK 825,000 and DKK 1,375,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills, and experience.

In situations where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
