About the Role
As IT Business Analyst, you'll drive the requirement engineering of our cutting-edge tools and platforms. We're seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, pragmatic mindset, and intellectual curiosity who is focused on achieving meaningful progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business requirements in close collaboration with the Product Manager
- Translate complex business terminology into technical language and vice versa
- Create clear, concise requirements and acceptance criteria that are unambiguous, complete, consistent, and verifiable
- Design and optimize user journeys to enhance overall experience and efficiency
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Create tangible metrics for tracking user adoption and business impact
- Present technical progress to a broader business audience

About You
We're seeking enthusiastic professionals who can lead effectively with both functional and operational expertise. You should be an excellent communicator who builds trust-based relationships within your squad and among various partners. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail will be crucial in translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Previous experience with business analysis, requirements engineering, and software quality assurance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work with tight deadlines and adapt priorities as organizational objectives evolve
- Experience presenting applications and demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and collaboration tools like Azure DevOps and Confluence
These are additional nice to haves:
- Educational background in quantitative field (e.g. mathematics)
- Experience in the Re-/Insurance industry
- Hands-on experience with software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization techniques
- Experience with process improvement methodologies
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,200 and EUR 3,700 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
