We're leading the strategy to grow the profitably of the Mexican Retail engineering portfolio. We provide high quality underwriting services and solutions to clients.

This role will give you the opportunity to work together with cross functional team to strengthen partnerships with Mexican clients to achieve effective solutions!

  • Participate and actively support in the process of underwriting Construction and Engineering deals with focus on Mexican market.
  • Ensure operative adherence to requirements imposed by Mexican Insurance Regulator to E&C and Renewable Energy Business
  • Accurately maintain underwriting documentation, ensure good data quality in underwriting system and follow-up post bound activities such as premium payment, claim data, filing.
  • Work to improve processes and operational excellence within E&C and Renewable Energy.

We are also looking for someone with these characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Construction Engineering or related field.
  • 2 years of underwriting experience and general knowledge of the insurance industry
  • Keeps documents, processes and records well organized and easy to access
  • Has analytical ability and experience in risk selection and underwriting practice (including risk management, industry assessment and rating methodologies).
