About the Role
As a Market Unit Support Specialist, you'll be the backbone of our Claims department, ensuring smooth daily operations while contributing to our strategic transformation initiatives. You'll collaborate with teams across regions, analyze performance data, and help implement solutions that enhance our claims service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Implementation - Drive strategic claims initiatives by supporting the development and implementation of departmental priorities
- Project Monitoring & Reporting - Track progress of strategic initiatives and create regular implementation reports for leadership
- Operational Excellence - Support Market Unit Heads with resource allocation, strategic planning, and operational effectiveness through performance analysis and reporting
- Financial & Administrative Support - Manage budget planning, tracking, and documentation while collaborating with the Management Information team on crucial reporting dashboards
- Technical & Training Coordination - Investigate IT issues, support system updates, and work with Claims L&D lead on training initiatives
- Governance & Compliance - Support regulatory audits and help develop standard operating procedures and regional guidelines
About the Team
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions is the commercial insurance arm of the Swiss Re Group. We offer innovative insurance solutions to large and midsized multinational corporations from our approximately 50 locations worldwide. We help clients mitigate their risk exposure, whilst our industry-leading claims service provides them with additional peace of mind.
About You
You're an analytical problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment. You have excellent organizational skills and can juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Your communication abilities allow you to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and you're passionate about improving processes and driving operational excellence.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- University degree in business administration, economics, or a similar field
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, ideally with a background as a business analyst
- Fluency in English
- Ability to translate ideas into practical solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach
- Experience handling multiple projects and priorities in parallel
- Ability to gather varying stakeholder requirements and develop efficient processes
These are additional nice to haves:
- Experience in Primary Insurance market and dedicated Claims experience
- Additional European language skills
- Experience working in complex, changing circumstances
For Slovakia, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,800 and EUR 2,900 per month (for a full-time role).

• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
