Are you a transformative marketing expert with a proven ability to build and execute market-defining strategies in complex, high-growth environments? We are looking for a Strategic Marketing Manager to own and elevate the end-to-end marketing agenda for China - one of our most critical and dynamic markets. In this highly visible role, you will not only translate global vision into local impact, but will also shape the future of our brand, drive integrated commercial growth, and build a marketing engine that delivers measurable business outcomes across the full customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • You will support the MU/Market Heads ensuring alignment across the 3 BUs (Life & Health, P&C and Corporate Solutions) and build strong relationships with therespective leadership and client facing teams to develop and execute local marketing plans.
  • You will provide input into the global marketing strategy, ensuring it is informed by deep local market intelligence.
  • Develop and own the comprehensive MU Marketing Strategy & Annual Plan, directly aligned to the MU's financial and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct ongoing market, competitor, and client analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic pivots.

Campaign Orchestration & Execution Excellence

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns for the MU, from ideation to execution.
  • Drive innovation in campaign activation, leveraging digital transformation, data insights, and emerging channels to maximize engagement and conversion.
  • Ensure all marketing outputs maintain global brand standards while resonating powerfully with the local audience.

Commercial Partnership & Sales Enablement

  • Act as the key marketing interface for MU Leadership and client-facing teams, embedding marketing strategy into business planning.
  • Co-develop targeted go-to-market initiatives and client value propositions with sales leadership.
  • Spearhead the creation of advanced sales enablement tools, client insights, and persuasive collateral that empower teams to accelerate the sales cycle and deepen client relationships.

Performance, Analytics & Optimization

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities, demonstrating clear ROI and contribution to pipeline, brand visibility and solid event experience.
  • Implement a test-learn-optimize framework to continuously improve campaign performance and resource allocation.
  • Report regularly to leadership on marketing effectiveness, market trends, and strategic recommendations.

Team & Stakeholder

  • Provide clear briefs, directions, and prioritization to the APAC marketing services hub and other support teams (e.g., Sales Excellence, Executive Education).
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders across three Business Units (L&H, P&C, Corporate Solutions) to drive cohesive plans.
  • Manage agency relationships and local marketing budgets with fiscal rigor and strategic intent.
  • Champion best practices and knowledge sharing within the MU and across the broader marketing community.

About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in strategic marketing management, preferably within a complex, multi-national organization.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that have driven measurable business growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience collaborating closely with sales leadership.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influence skills to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and budget management.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
