About the Role
As a Records Management Partner and Deputy Team Lead, you'll be at the intersection of business strategy and information governance, ensuring Swiss Re's critical records are managed effectively across the organization. You'll build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, provide expert guidance, and help shape the future of records management in a global reinsurance leader. At the same time, you have an excellent understanding of records management operations; you actively contribute to tasks, work on solutions and engage with the ongoing records management enhancement program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business units to embed effective, pragmatic records management practices across the organization; clarify needs, align priorities, and advise on best-fit solutions
- Provide leadership support as deputy team lead by coordinating day-to-day work, coaching colleagues, and stepping in for the Team Lead when needed
- Ensure service excellence by overseeing intake and prioritization, and guaranteeing timely follow-up on requests and escalations
- Cultivate stakeholder relationships with senior leaders; manage expectations, handle escalations diplomatically, and communicate clearly on scope, timelines, and outcomes
- Actively work on records management operations tasks together with the Records Management Operations team.
- Deliver expert guidance on policies, governance, and controls to ensure records management is efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives
- Drive data-informed decisions using operational insights to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; translate findings into clear recommendations
- Collaborate across functions with the Records Lifecycle team and other partners to refine the operating model and drive continuous improvement

The Records Management Partners team engages with business teams across Swiss Re, educating them about records management principles and coordinating service delivery from records management operations to the business. The team serves as a crucial bridge ensuring that business needs are understood and met with appropriate records management solutions.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Several years of experience in a large, global organization, ideally in a regulated environment (e.g., finance, (re)insurance), in a partnering, records management, governance, risk, compliance, or similar role
- Expertise in records management operations and related tasks
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust, influence outcomes, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies
- Consultative mindset with the ability to assess needs, structure problems, and propose pragmatic solutions that balance policy intent with business realities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data (e.g., inventories, trackers, spreadsheets) to produce insights, options, and clear recommendations
- Demonstrated coordination or leadership experience (formal or informal), with readiness to act as Deputy Team Lead and escalation point
These are additional nice to haves:
- Understanding of Insurance/Reinsurance system landscape and business processes
- Experience implementing or onboarding new tools and driving process change within a team
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks
- Willingness to travel to Switzerland occasionally
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3,300 and EUR 5,400 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
