About the Role
As a Senior Analytics Analyst, you will be at the heart of transforming how we use data to drive smarter, faster, and more impactful business decisions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales analytics capabilities, working closely with stakeholders across the organization to unlock the full potential of data — from building cutting-edge machine learning models to delivering compelling insights that fuel growth. This is a high-visibility role where your work will directly influence strategic decisions and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders throughout the GDM organization to identify and prioritize opportunities for leveraging data to develop innovative business solutions
- Mine and analyze large-scale data from Sales Analytics databases to drive efficiency improvements and support the achievement of growth objectives
- Evaluate and assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques to continuously improve data quality
- Design and develop custom data models and algorithms, applying them to complex datasets to generate actionable insights
- Build and automate reports and dashboards iteratively, providing scalable insights that address key business priorities
- Develop robust processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance, ensuring ongoing data accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for applying Generative AI (GenAI) technologies to enhance outcomes
- Stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in GenAI technologies and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance data science processes
- Deliver compelling presentations of findings and recommendations to stakeholders at multiple levels, creating clear and impactful visual displays of quantitative information
- Manage stakeholder relationships effectively — soliciting ideas, prioritizing requests, and managing expectations with clarity and professionalism
- Coordinate efforts and actions with nine market units, maintaining a strong client and broker focus with emphasis on growth initiatives and sales campaigns

You will be joining the GDM Analytics team, a dynamic and collaborative group dedicated to enhancing sales data analytics capabilities across the organization. The team plays a central role in coordinating analytics efforts across nine market units, ensuring alignment and consistency in how data drives decision-making. With a sharp focus on client and broker relationships, the team is at the forefront of powering growth initiatives and sales campaigns through the intelligent use of data.
About You

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Educational background: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- Hands-on experience: At least 5 years of experience with analysis applications (e.g., extracting insights, performing statistical analysis, or solving business problems) and coding languages such as Python, R, and SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets
- Machine learning expertise: Proficiency in machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PySpark, and scikit-learn, with knowledge of a variety of techniques including clustering, ensembles, and artificial neural networks
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data wrangling techniques
- Statistical foundations: Solid understanding of probability concepts, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design
- AI and NLP experience: Demonstrated experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and other Machine Learning models to analyze structured and unstructured data, including Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on pragmatic, solution-oriented thinking
These are additional nice to have:
- Familiarity with latest GenAI technologies and their practical application in a business context
- Commercial Insurance experience — an understanding of the insurance industry and its data landscape is a valuable plus
- A genuine drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques, staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving field
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
