Location: Zurich, Zurich, CH
Are you passionate about translating business strategy into measurable business impact? Join us at the heart of Swiss Re's transformation journey, where you'll collaborate with senior leaders to reshape the future of P&C Reinsurance and drive cutting-edge AI solutions.
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant in Business Transformation, you will play a key role in shaping how our global P&C Reinsurance business evolves. You will lead and deliver high-impact transformation initiatives end-to-end - from strategy through to execution - spanning operating models, processes, technology, and ways of working. Your focus will be on turning strategic ambition into tangible change, with clear outcomes that stick in the organisation, not just on paper.
Current focus - AI-enabled transformation at scale:
A significant part of our transformation agenda is re-shaping the P&C Re value chain through responsible, business-led use of AI. In this role, you will help design and deliver AI-enabled initiatives that go beyond experimentation - embedding new capabilities into core underwriting and operational workflows. You will act as a connector between strategy, users, and technology, and play a key role in steering adoption, influencing decision-makers, and ensuring change delivers sustained business value.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic translation: Break down complex business challenges into clear problem statements and actionable solution approaches
Initiative leadership: Transform strategic intent into well-defined initiatives with measurable outcomes and robust governance. Drive delivery, owning financial stewardship, milestone planning and stakeholder alignment
AI/Digital transformation: Lead AI and other digital transformation efforts, shaping robust business cases and driving disciplined execution (scope, timeline, cost, risks, dependencies) through adoption and benefits realisation
Cross-functional collaboration: Work across functions and regions to ensure solutions are practical, adopted, and sustainable
Delivery alignment Partner with programme, business and Data & Tech leads to ensure alignment, timely decisions and successful delivery
The role offers high visibility and broad exposure, with opportunities to build a strong internal network and help shape decisions across the organisation. To strengthen the reinsurance business understanding, opportunities are available to deepen business exposure - for example, supporting Underwriting teams during renewals.
