About the Role
As the Senior Operational Excellence Lead, you will be at the forefront of redefining how Corporate Solutions (CorSo) Global Operations function operates — end-to-end. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will architect and drive large-scale transformation initiatives across CorSo's Lines of Business, Integrated Platforms, and Global Functions. Working consistently across the three dimensions of process, systems, and data, you will bridge strategy and execution, partnering with senior Operations run stakeholders and leadership to design smarter, faster, and more resilient operating models that deliver real, measurable results on a global stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across CorSo's Global Operations, defining scope, objectives, and roadmaps that align with strategic business priorities across global and local markets — consistently working across the three dimensions of process, systems, and data
- Design and implement end-to-end operating models that drive efficiency, compliance, and service differentiation across property & casualty and specialty insurance lines of business
- Champion process innovation and digital adoption, including GenAI and emerging technologies, to enhance productivity and deliver measurable business impact across Global Operations
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior Operations run stakeholders — including Heads of Operations and functional Operations leaders — acting as a credible strategic partner who can influence, align, and navigate competing priorities across a complex global organization
- Drive operational rigor by establishing governance frameworks, performance metrics, and continuous improvement mechanisms, while embedding best practices in process design, change management, and capability building
- Lead and facilitate transformation workshops and change management initiatives, ensuring successful adoption of new operating models and ways of working across Global Operations
- Identify and mitigate transformation risks, translating complex Global Operations challenges into clear, actionable strategies and ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
About the Team
The Operational Model Excellence (OMEX) team sits within the COO Division of CorSo and is a global transformation function dedicated to evolving end-to-end operational models across Lines of Business (LoBs), Integrated Platforms (IP), and Global Functions. With a mission rooted in driving operational rigor, user relief, and capability building, the team works consistently across the three dimensions of process, systems, and data — all within a unified framework that ensures holistic and sustainable transformation.
OMEX leads business transformation and strategic change initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and service differentiation across CorSo's Global Operations. The team designs and implements end-to-end operating models that balance local market needs with global consistency, while championing innovation and digital adoption — including GenAI — to improve productivity and deliver measurable business impact. About You
You are a seasoned transformation professional who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution. You are energized by complexity, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and skilled at bringing diverse teams and stakeholders — including senior Operations run leaders — on a shared journey of change.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Proven experience leading large-scale projects or initiatives or operational excellence programs in a complex, matrixed, global organization within the financial services industry — preferably in an Operations or Finance function
- Strong track record in digital transformation, including experience translating business requirements into system implementation and driving adoption of new technologies — including GenAI, automation, or other emerging tools — in an operational context
- Demonstrated ability to influence, engage, and align senior Operations run stakeholders — including Heads of Operations and functional Operations leaders — across multiple functions and geographies to drive strategic change and secure buy-in for transformation initiatives
- Expertise in change management principles and practices, with a proven ability to embed new ways of working across large, globally distributed teams
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential, as this is a global role requiring confident communication and influencing at senior levels across multiple geographies
These are additional nice to haves:
- Experience in commercial insurance, reinsurance, or broader financial services, with familiarity of industry operations, workflows, and business dynamics
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher, with practical application of process improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile or other complementary process improvement frameworks
- Exposure to data-driven decision-making and analytics tools to support transformation initiatives
For Slovakia, the base salary range for this position is between 3,300 EUR and 5,400 EUR for a full-time role.
