About the Role

As a Senior Operations Analyst, you'll be at the intersection of operations, compliance, and strategic improvement. You'll analyse complex data, oversee critical reporting, and contribute to transformational initiatives that enhance our service delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee KPI reporting and performance insights to support operational effectiveness and cost discipline
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and governance frameworks
  • Analyze complex operational data to support informed decision-making
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and service delivery
  • Provide oversight of all regulatory reporting obligations (e.g., ARPC, GICOP, complaints)
  • Lead coordination of regulatory training, such as GICOP and complaints handling
  • Drive operational readiness activities for upcoming regulatory changes
  • Own records management activities, including associated branch training and compliance monitoring
  • Work with IT and Operations colleagues to develop and deliver quality outcomes and issue resolution
  • Support Operations teams across APAC on an ad-hoc basis with defined activities and projects

About the Team

The Operations team provides end-to-end operational and administrative support to Underwriting, including selected underwriting assistance. The team operates in a global, cross-functional model spanning Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Europe, the USA, and India, working closely with global and regional stakeholders to enable efficient and compliant business execution.

About You

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in insurance or reinsurance, ideally within Operations or Underwriting
  • Proven experience delivering small to medium-scale operational projects
  • Highly developed analytical capability with a strong understanding of data, metrics, and financial impacts
  • Advanced stakeholder management and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (intermediate to advanced)

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.

For Australia, the base salary range for this position is between AUD 100,000 and AUD 150,000 for a full-time role. The specific salary offered considers the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role as well as the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
