About the Role
As the Senior Process Transformation Lead, you will be at the forefront of redefining how we operate — end-to-end. This is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role where you will architect and drive large-scale transformation initiatives across Lines of Business, Integrated Platforms, and Global Functions. You will bridge strategy and execution, working with senior stakeholders to design smarter, faster, and more resilient operating models that deliver real, measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives by defining scope, objectives, and roadmaps that align with strategic business priorities across global and local markets
- Design and implement end-to-end operating models that drive efficiency, compliance, and service differentiation while meeting the needs of diverse stakeholders across property & casualty and specialty insurance lines of business
- Champion process innovation and digital adoption, including the integration of GenAI and emerging technologies, to enhance productivity and deliver measurable business impact
- Apply structured project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor transformation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget across complex, cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with senior leadership across Lines of Business, Integrated Platforms, and Global Functions to align transformation efforts with organizational goals
- Drive operational rigor by establishing governance frameworks, performance metrics, and continuous improvement mechanisms
- Build and develop capability within teams by embedding best practices in process design, change management, and operational excellence
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and change management to ensure successful adoption of new operating models and ways of working
- Identify and mitigate transformation risks, proactively addressing barriers to change and ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
- Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable transformation strategies that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Lead and facilitate process transformation workshops, initiatives, and projects, driving alignment and momentum across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Leverage prior experience within property & casualty and specialty insurance environments to help drive delivery of strategic projects across process, systems, and data domains.

The Operational Model Excellence (OMEX) team is a global transformation function dedicated to evolving end-to-end operational models across Lines of Business (LoBs), Integrated Platforms (IP), and Global Functions. With a mission rooted in driving operational rigor, user relief, and capability building, the team works at the intersection of people, processes, systems, and data — all within a unified framework.
OMEX leads business transformation and strategic change initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and service differentiation. The team designs and implements end-to-end operating models that balance local market needs with global consistency, while championing innovation and digital adoption — including GenAI — to improve productivity and deliver measurable business impact. About You
You are a seasoned transformation leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution. You are energized by complexity, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and skilled at bringing diverse teams and stakeholders on a shared journey of change. You lead with curiosity, empathy, and a relentless focus on outcomes — and you know how to inspire others to do the same.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Proven experience leading large-scale process transformation or operational excellence programs in a complex, matrixed, global organization
- Deep expertise in end-to-end operating model design, including process mapping, governance frameworks, and performance measurement
- Strong knowledge of digital transformation and innovation methodologies, including experience with GenAI, automation, or other emerging technologies in a business context
- Proven project management experience, with the ability to lead and manage complex, cross-functional transformation projects in a global environment, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies to drive strategic change
- Expertise in change management principles and practices, with a track record of successfully embedding new ways of working across large organizations
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, with demonstrated application of DMAIC and process improvement methodologies in a complex organizational environment
- Proven experience leading and facilitating process transformation workshops, initiatives, and projects, with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment and deliver measurable outcomes
- Commercial insurance experience in property & casualty and specialty insurance, with a solid understanding of industry operations, workflows, and business dynamics across these lines of business
These are additional nice-to-haves:
- Experience in the commercial insurance or broader financial services industry
- Familiarity with Agile or other complementary process improvement frameworks
- Experience working with integrated platforms or shared service models
- Exposure to data-driven decision-making and analytics tools to support transformation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Experience working across multiple geographies and cultures in a global organization
- Strong facilitation and workshop design skills for executive-level audiences
The position location is flexible to either our Windsor, CT or Kansas City, MO offices. Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office three days per week.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $180,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.
