We are looking for a young professional to join our dynamic team as a Surety Intern!
About the Role:
You will support the Surety team by helping develop risk monitoring intelligence, as well as assisting our Underwriters with data entry and report creation. You will have the opportunity to learn about the Surety and Insurance markets, interacting directly with clients and brokers. This is a unique opportunity for your professional development, as you will contribute to the creation of new management tools, gain in-depth knowledge of Surety products, and have exposure to both the insurance and reinsurance markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing risk monitoring intelligence for the Surety team.
Support Underwriters by entering information into systems and creating reports.
Interact with clients and brokers, gaining exposure to the Surety and Insurance markets.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of management and analytical tools.
Expand your knowledge of Surety products and related insurance and reinsurance processes.
About the Team:
The Surety team reports directly to the Head of Surety Brazil that reports directly to the Head of Surety Latam. We are responsible for handling, issuing and maintaining surety bond issues, in addition to providing support for related areas, such as origination, claims and others areas.
About You:
Who are we looking for?
- Students of Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related courses. Graduation expected in 2027 or after.
- Contributive mindset, excellent communication skills and ability to develop effective working relations in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
Must Have:
- Proficiency knowledge of Office package, manly excel and word.
- English knowledge at any level.
- Independent thinking, thirst for knowledge, business curiosity an ambition to develop.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Knowledge in insurance and reinsurance
