Join Swiss Re as a Team Lead – International Programs Network Operations, where you’ll guide a team of Network Partner Coordinators in delivering high-quality insurance services across the APAC region. From policy implementation to managing external vendors, you’ll ensure operational excellence, compliance, and impactful service delivery in a truly international environment.

While being accountable for the assigned servicing team, your role is furthermore to contribute to the IP Services leadership team in shaping and driving a streamline operating model towards an optimal delivery setup. This includes supporting our people development and service culture agendas, as well as leading key projects and initiatives towards the adoption of technology and improving vendor management and governance.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of Network Partner Coordinators to ensure flawless delivery operational services for international insurance programs.
  • Oversee the issuance of local policies and invoices for various APAC markets, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and local requirements, including pre-quote/pre-bind activities, service exceptions, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
  • Coach, assign tasks, and manage team workload, ensuring efficient use of resources and achievement of performance targets.
  • Drive process alignment and continuous improvement initiatives, including the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures, aimed at building further operational robustness.
  • Lead key process and system enhancement projects, contributing with operational insights and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Market Unit Operations, Underwriting and Finance, as well as the International Programs global community, to further advance service delivery as key contribution to technical excellence and market differentiation.
  • Support team development, including hiring, training, performance management, and identifying growth opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure timely premium collection and binder verification, working closely with Technical Accounting and Producing Offices, as well as external service providers.

 

About the Team

The International Program Services area is part of Corporate Solutions Global Central Operations and plays a vital role in delivering operational excellence across Swiss Re’s global insurance program business. We support underwriting and policy administration, ensuring smooth and compliant service delivery for our international clients. As part of a collaborative and diverse environment, we work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation.

About You

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in service operations. Significant experience in re/insurance operations is a strong plus.
  • Significant team leadership and people management experience in a service delivery or shared services environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to effectively engage with a variety of stakeholders at different levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate across cultures and teams; other language skills are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of (re)insurance operations, policy lifecycle, and premium cash-flow processes. Experience in managing a network of partner carriers is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, especially in process execution and reporting.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools; advance knowledge of AI tools is a strong plus.
