Swiss Re Corporate Solutions appoints Lisa Butera as Head Financial & Professional Lines (FinPro) and Casualty North America

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions appoints Lisa Butera as Head Financial & Professional Lines (FinPro) and Casualty North America, effective July 17 2023.  

In this role, Ms Butera will be responsible for leading Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' FinPro and Casualty business in the US and Canada. She will be based in New York City and join the North America Regional Management team to drive strategic direction across the region. Ms. Butera will report to Katie McGrath, CEO North America, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.

Bringing with her over three decades of leadership experience in the insurance and reinsurance space – particularly in FinPro lines, Ms. Butera most recently served as Head P&C Clients Markets US in the Reinsurance division at Swiss Re. Prior to her role at Swiss Re, Ms. Butera held several leadership positions at AIG.

Ms. Butera sits on the Swiss Re Americas Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council and is the Global Executive Sponsor of Mosaic, Swiss Re's employee resource group for people of color.
