Swiss Re Corporate Solutions opens a new office in Los Angeles, California, to grow its regional commercial insurance business. The new office will provide regional client service and a multi-line underwriting offering with an initial focus on Property, Casualty and Special Lines.
The new Los Angeles office, which complements existing offices including Santa Ana, San Francisco and Seattle, expands Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ presence in California and the U.S. Western region. "We have deep ties to California’s insurance market," states Ivan Gonzalez, CEO North America. "Our new Los Angeles office shows our commitment to local brokers and clients. By building our presence in the area, we hope to strengthen these relationships and capitalize on opportunities for strong, organic growth."
Mike Kwan, Head E&S Casualty North America, will serve as office manager. Mr. Kwan joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in 2015 and has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.
