Swiss Re Corporate Solutions obtains license to provide direct insurance in Mexico. It will insure mid-sized and large companies and government entities against large risks.
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, which has over 50 offices in more than 20 countries, obtained formal authorization from the local insurance authorities to operate as an insurer in Mexico. The newly licensed entity, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions México Seguros S.A. de C.V., began operations on January 2, 2018 from its Mexico City office. Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has been registered as a foreign reinsurer in Mexico since 2014.
The recently-licensed insurance company will offer multi-line insurance coverage to mid-sized and large companies and government entities through agents and brokers with an initial focus on Engineering and Construction, General Liability, Marine and Property.

In addition to Mexico City, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions serves clients and brokers throughout Latin America from offices in Bogota, Cali, Medellin, Miami, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.
