Connie Bartels Senior Director, Risk Management RTX Corporation

Connie Bartels is Senior Director, Risk Management and leads RTX Corporation’s Risk Management department. RTX is an aerospace and defense company that provides advanced systems and services for commercial, military and government customers worldwide. The company has $73 billion in worldwide sales and over 180,000 employees. Its businesses include Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon. In her present role she also serves as President of RTX’s captive insurance company.

Connie has over 30 years of insurance experience and has previously worked on both the insurance company and brokerage side at Marsh, FM Global and Chubb Insurance. Connie serves on the Board of Directors of RIMS Fairfield/Westchester Chapter. She also is an Executive Sponsor of RTX Finance’s emerging leader program and serves on advisory boards of other lead insurers/brokers. Connie graduated from Hamilton College and the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business, Executive Leadership Program. She holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM) designations as well as a Connecticut insurance brokerage license.
