Katie Malley Head Alternative Risk Transfer Americas

Katie Malley is the Head of Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) for the Americas at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, based in New York City. In this role, she leads the regional ART business, driving the origination, structuring, and execution of bespoke risk solutions for corporate clients across the Americas. Her expertise spans a broad range of non-traditional products, including structured re/insurance, parametric covers, and other innovative risk transfer mechanisms designed to help clients manage complex and evolving risks.

Katie has been active in the Alternative Risk Transfer market since 2018. She rejoined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in 2024, having originally begun her career with the company in 2011. During her first eight years at Swiss Re, she held a variety of roles across Property & Casualty Underwriting, Origination, and Alternative Risk Transfer, developing deep expertise in both traditional and non-traditional risk solutions. Between 2019 and 2024, Katie held positions at Allianz Risk Transfer, where she continued her work in alternative risk solutions, and at Hudson Structured Capital Management, a New York-based alternative asset manager, where she served as Reinsurance Portfolio Manager.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a Master of Science in Finance from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
