Meng Hwi Chin is the Head of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Insurance China Ltd, based in Shanghai. Appointed in August 2025, she brings over 20 years of global experience in finance and leadership across reinsurance and insurance.
Meng Hwi began her career as an external auditor in Singapore, before moving into senior finance roles where her responsibilities evolved from regional to global scope, with postings to London and Munich.
In 2015, Meng Hwi joined Swiss Re as the Corporate Solutions APAC CFO. In that role, she shaped regional financial strategy, partnered with business leaders to deliver performance, and is a Board member for the China entity. Her expertise in financial management and governance, combined with a deep understanding of the Asia-Pacific market, positions her to steer Swiss Re Corporate Solutions China toward sustainable growth and client-focused innovation.
Meng Hwi holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore and is a Certified Public Accountant.
