Michael LaRocca Commercial Officer US Corporate Solutions Management

Michael P. LaRocca is the Commercial Officer for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in the United States. In this role, he is responsible for advancing the company’s strategic market coverage and driving business development initiatives. He works closely with Customer & Distribution Management to originate large and complex deals, enhance service to key clients, and strengthen partnerships with major brokers.

Michael brings more than 37 years of underwriting experience in Property lines. He joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in November 2018 and most recently served as Managing Director, Head of Property & Specialty North America. In that role, he led a broad portfolio including General Property, Excess & Surplus Lines, Energy, and Engineering & Construction.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College and is based in New York City.
