Michael Ranford Senior Underwriter Property MU UK & Ireland

Michael joined Swiss Re in 2024 as a Senior Property Underwriter with 8 years experience in the insurance industry. He started his career in 2016 on the Graduate Scheme at Zurich holding roles across technical underwriting, claims and SME underwriting before becoming a Property Underwriter. He then joined Allied World Assurance Company in 2021 where he worked as a Senior Property Underwriter.

Michael holds the Diploma in Insurance Qualification (DipCII), and a BSc (Hons) degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Bath.
