Wendy Koh joined Swiss Re in March 2022 as Director and Head Group Communications APAC, overseeing the group's media and corporate communications functions in the region. Based in Singapore, Wendy brings more than 20 years' experience, primarily in the re/insurance industry, and international insights she gained from working in several cities across Asia and Europe.
A strategic communications professional, Wendy's range of expertise spans across reputational management, executive & internal communications, change management, crisis & issues communications, media relations, thought leadership content development and distribution as well as digital & interactive media.
Prior to joining Swiss Re, Wendy was the Regional Head of Marketing & Communications Asia Pacific at Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS), where she was also a member of AGCS' Asia Pacific Executive Management team. Before joining AGCS in 2011, Wendy worked in several insurance corporations including AXA XL and Bank of China Life Insurance. She was also previously the Editor of Asia Insurance Review.
Wendy was born and raised in London and moved to Singapore in her youth. She holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Canberra and a diploma in Mass Communications from the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore.
