Yann Krattiger Head ART Commercial Growth Initiatives

Yann was appointed Head of Alternative Risk Transfer Commercial Growth Initiatives in July 2026. In this role, he drives commercial growth across Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ global Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) business, coordinating strategic initiatives, fostering cross-functional collaboration and developing new solutions and partnerships for complex and difficult-to-hedge risks.

Prior to his current appointment, Yann served as Head of ART Structuring for European Markets, the Middle East and Africa. He previously led Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ Structured Fronting business as Head Structured Fronting within Innovative Risk Solutions, where he was responsible for the development and delivery of structured fronting and captive solutions for corporate clients.

Yann has over 28 years of experience in corporate insurance, reinsurance and risk management, spanning business development, underwriting and the structuring of complex risk transfer solutions. Before joining Swiss Re, he spent almost 12 years at Allianz Risk Transfer as Principal, responsible for structured captive fronting programmes and the sales and underwriting of Alternative Risk Transfer solutions.

Earlier in his career, Yann worked at Zurich Corporate Solutions as a Deal Architect for structured reinsurance and insurance programmes and as Network Manager for International Programmes. He began his career as a Senior Marine Underwriter at Alpina Insurance Company.

Yann holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Applied Sciences of Zurich (HWZ).
