What You'll Do
As a Claims Specialist, you will take ownership of a diverse caseload of US Insurance Agents and Brokers Professional Liability claims, handling them from initial receipt through final resolution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Investigate and evaluate claims.
- Analyze coverage, liability, and damages.
- Set and maintain accurate indemnity and expense reserves.
- Develop and execute effective negotiation and resolution strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.

Who You Are
You are a confident, self-motivated professional who thrives in both independent and team settings. You are organized, efficient, and comfortable engaging with your colleagues, insureds, outside counsel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in claims handling - ideally in professional liability; or 2+ in legal practice, ideally insurance defense or coverage.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for coverage, liability, and damages.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Possess or willingness to obtain adjuster licenses as needed.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $84,000 to $140,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
