About the team
Our team's vision is to support and generate leading reporting insights to manage, guide, and anticipate our business needs. The Data Foundation and Reporting team within Business Excellence, part of P&C Re Operations, is responsible for the development and maintenance of the P&C Re Operations Reporting landscape. A prominent product for our business partners is REAP, a Power BI-based reporting application.
We provide support across the entire P&C Re value chain (Offering, Business Services, Technical Accounting & Claims Operations, Claims Management, In-force Management, and Reserving) by generating critical business insights. The team frequently interacts with senior key stakeholders and serves as a liaison between the business and IT partners.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for originating and driving the execution of reporting and analytical support for the Claims community and beyond. You will take ownership of implementing solutions, leveraging the business understanding of our partners and IT team as needed. You will work with an advanced technology stack that aligns with the wider P&C Re reporting strategy. The products you develop, combined with strong stakeholder interactions, will enhance our Claims adjudication capabilities.
Your skills and experiences
- You possess strong analytical and technical skills, demonstrating the ability to translate analytics into actual products. A strong expertise in reinsurance across multiple domains is required, with over 5 years of working experience in the field. A background or experience in Claims Operations/Management is highly desirable. Proficient technical and functional Business Analyst and Data Analyst skills are essential.
- You consider yourself a research person that also enjoys developing the final solution. You can communicate complex technical concepts and results in a clear and precise manner to non-technical audiences. You work independently and quickly adapt to new technologies, making decisions with minimal supervision.
- You put as much passion in the adoption of your solutions to your business partners, interpret their needs and translate them into technical specifications and act on bringing them to a product. You like to constructively challenge and develop alternative proposals. You drive the development of new reporting solutions based on the Power BI application and provide the next generation of Analytics including embedded AI
- You have significant experience in agile development and a proven track record of leading regional-scale projects.
We are an equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity at our company. Our aim is to live visible and invisible diversity – diversity of age, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, physical abilities, personalities, and experiences – at all levels and in all functions and regions.
