About the Role

This position is part of Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) within the Group Reporting Production (Re)Insurance team. We are looking for a forward-thinking candidate who will actively contribute to developing and enhancing our operating model, with the aim of producing high-quality deliverables efficiently.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform data quality and accuracy checks for the (Re)Insurance workstream, with a focus on Life & Health and Property & Casualty business.
  • Conduct full workstream data validation and analysis across entities and business units.
  • Identify and coordinate data correction activities in close collaboration with Sub-ledgers, GL teams, Group External Reporting, and Business Units.
  • Perform consistency checks and additional data review activities in scope for Group Reporting and Group Tax.
  • Carry out Legal Entity results reviews, including investigation of variances, reconciliation of balances, and proactive follow-up on issues.
  • Prepare and validate manual adjustments at Group level.
  • Ensure strict adherence to controls and produce robust audit evidence.

About the Team

Our mandate is to ensure the delivery of complete and accurate Group IFRS Data. By executing data accuracy and accounting checks at both workstream and Legal Entity level, we provide central readiness status. About You
 

We are seeking a candidate who combines curiosity, attention to detail, and strong results orientation. Ideally, you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably within the (Re)Insurance industry.
  • Understanding of IFRS 17 standards and disclosure requirements (a strong advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of the Group Data Model (constraints) and consistency check requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with applications across the Group reporting landscape (Sub-ledgers, SAP General Ledger, Group Reporting Platform).
  • Proficiency in SAP tools (Fiori apps, AfO) and the Enhanced Finance Repository (EFR / Power BI).
  • Solid data analysis and visualization skills to interpret errors and rejections.
  • Ability to draw conclusions through review and accounting investigations of transactions (e.g., business shifts, intragroup balances, and other Group-specific checks).
  • Understanding of Finance closing activities and timelines, including system interactions and team dependencies.
  • Experience participating in special Group reporting transactions or projects that impact GRP activities.

For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between 77,000 and 115,000 CHF (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: ​

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role
  • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​
