Solutions are services and platforms delivered to clients that lead to new, more or better business profit generation for Swiss Re that would not happen through our traditional Reinsurance business. Key to the success of this business is our ability to serve/harvest existing clients and win new clients with a scope that extends beyond Swiss Re's traditional reinsurance clients to cover the full scope of all insurance companies and non-insurance partners in adjacent sectors where our risk knowledge can add value.

About the Role

As the right hand to the Head of Planning & Reporting for L&H Solutions, you will be instrumental in driving data accuracy, automation, and providing financial oversight to support senior leadership and business development teams across all regions globally. With your strong data expertise, you will transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that underpin strategic decisions. As a part of the Steering, Planning, and Enabling team, your contributions will be essential to the overall success and growth of L&H Solutions.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Planning & Reporting, regional BD heads, and cross-functional teams to align financial performance with business development goals and growth strategies.
  • Owning and advancing automation initiatives, including maintaining data sets for Power BI solution, to enhance reporting accuracy, consistency, and speed.
  • Support monthly forecasting process and annual planning.
  • Deputizing for the Head of Planning & Reporting by serving as a trusted partner in financial oversight and business development.
  • Analyze internal and external client data, perform quality checks and reconciliations, and produce performance reports to support the team’s data-driven decision-making.
  • Support the delivery of clear and impactful presentations with regular exposure to senior stakeholders.


About You

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in (re)insurance or financial services, with proven expertise as a data-driven specialist and solid understanding of financial processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data analysis and automation tools, including Power BI and other Microsoft Office Suite applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, MS Teams).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and optimize automated dashboards and reporting solutions, with a passion for turning complex data into clear, strategic insights.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, with a keen eye for detail and a drive to support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Skilled in project management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and presenting insights with clarity and integrity.
  • Strong collaborator who thrives working independently as well as within cross-functional and global teams.
  • Be curious about business development/Insurtech topics
  • Fluent in English is a must; additional EU languages are a plus


For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 1 900 EUR and 3 200 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.​
