We're living in an age of connectivity where new technology is constantly evolving to help bring us closer together. So it should come as no surprise that technology is revolutionising how we interact with our cars – and our insurers.

Much of this is happening thanks to auto telematics – or the little black box in your car. It can keep you from getting lost, make your car safer or route your car to a mechanic if you're in an accident. It can even start the claims process.

Want to know what else it can do? Listen to our latest podcast below! In this episode, Kate Browne, Senior Vice President of Claims, shares some of the risks and opportunities of auto telematics.

Kate Browne is an attorney who has spent her entire career in the insurance industry. She has written several papers on the legal implications of drones, autonomous vehicles, the Internet of Things (IoT) and other emerging risks. She is a member of TIDA, the FDCC and the DRI and a graduate of St John's University School of Law.
