Patrick Saner Treasury AI Lead Treasury & Tax

Patrick Saner is Treasury AI Lead at Swiss Re, focusing on AI applications in financial markets, capital management and risk.

Previously, he was Head of Macro Strategy at Swiss Re, responsible for global interest rate and macroeconomic forecasts. He also served on Swiss Re's Asset Management Investment Committee and represented the Group in international forums, including the G20, IIF, WEF, OECD and FSB.

Before joining Swiss Re, Patrick worked at the World Bank Treasury in Washington, DC, advising central banks and sovereign wealth funds on asset management. Prior to that, he worked at the Swiss National Bank in the office of the Deputy Governor and began his career at UBS.

Patrick holds a master's degree in macroeconomic policy and financial markets, a bachelor's degree in business administration and is a CFA charter holder.
