Ole Ohlmeyer Global Head Alternative Risk Transfer Corporate Solutions

Ole Ohlmeyer was appointed Global Head of Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) at Managing Director level in October 2023. In June 2025, his remit expanded to include Environmental & Commodity Markets (ECM) and ART Underwriting.

From October 2023 to May 2025, he also oversaw Global Customer & Distribution Management.

Before joining Swiss Re, Ole spent more than 20 years at Allianz. He started in 2003 with Allianz Group in Singapore, holding underwriting and market management roles focused on regional commercial business development. In 2008, he moved to the Munich head office of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) as Board Office Manager to the AGCS Group CEO. He became AGCS Regional Head of HR for Germany and Eastern Europe in 2010, and AGCS Global Head of Market Management in 2012, leading global and regional market and distribution management teams. From 2014, Ole served for five years as AGCS Country Manager for Austria and Eastern Europe and was a member of the DACH regional Executive Management Team. In 2019, he became AGCS Global Head of Multinational, responsible for the International Insurance Program Underwriting Centre and the Global Client Service Units managing multinational, captives and complex portfolios. In 2020, he led the implementation of a Regional Underwriting Hub structure in Allianz SE’s MidCorp segment. With the creation of Allianz Global Commercial, he became Head of Global MidCorp and also managed the overarching group center for Allianz’s multinational business.
