Max Hastings is a Senior Structurer within the Alternative Risk Transfer team at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, having joined in September 2025. He has over 10 years’ experience in Liability underwriting, with deep expertise in structuring international programs and managing complex global corporate risks.
Max began his career with Zurich Insurance in 2013, spending seven years underwriting Liability risks across a broad range of industries and multinational clients. In 2019, he joined HDI Global as a Senior Liability Underwriter, where for almost six years he specialised in designing and structuring liability solutions for large corporates with complex international exposures.
Throughout his career, Max has developed extensive experience in global programs, multinational servicing, and the design of tailored solutions for complex risks.
